This is a piece that I shot and edited. It was used as a sidecar to a press release on the HL Tau discovery.
I was responsible for lighting, shooting, and editing this video. It is used during NRAO new employee orientation.
I constructed this award-winning animation to highlight the portion of electromagnetic spectrum that the ALMA telescope is designed to explore. The finished piece was incorporated into a documentary called "Into Deepest Space: The Birth of the ALMA Observatory".
I created this motion graphic for a documentary on NRAO's telescope in Chile. Locations were highlighted to show where different telescope components were created.
I was only responsible for the editing in this piece. The footage was supplied by an outside contractor.
After Effects composition I created to illustrate the size of the individual VLA antennas.
I edited this piece featuring NRAO astronomers Miller Goss and Amy Mioduszewski describing how a microquasar makes a manatee-shaped nebula.
Having fun with XD Cam and Hero footage of the massive gears on the 140 foot telescope.
The NRAO EPO team recently visited our Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array in northern Chile. Here is a small sample of drone footage recently captured at the array -- yes, we successfully flew a drone at 16,500 ft above sea level in high wind and freezing cold!
